Knox Mountain Hill Climb 2023... after setting the fastest time the mountain has ever seen

Big White Winter Rally 2023.
We did well at note-making which was a good thing, because the racing conditions constantly changed and included blinding sun, polished ice, deep snow, thick blizzards in the dark, and strong winds. During the daylight rally, I overdid the entry to a long 4th gear corner and we ended up in the ditch. However, in the night stages we ran a fastest 2WD 32km stage, and finished 3rd in 2WD

I was given an incredible opportunity to enter a vintage race in the 1976 Maki Formula One car that I rebuilt/recreated for Jay Esterer.
This car has a Cosworth DFV 3 litre V8 that revs to 12,000 with an H pattern Hewland dog transmission. The intake noise behind my helmet was incredible

Going as hard as I could at Gimli Motorsport Park in Manitoba. Saturday was dry and earned me an outright track record and some broken suspension.
Sunday rained hard all day, so I raced on the wrong tires and just enjoyed racing an open wheel, open cockpit car in a rain storm

Very kind of Dave at Team PBS to let me race his red Nissan 350z in an endurance race. A beast of a car

Piloting my Spec Chevette ice race car on the way to a 1st place finish

Knox Mountain Hill Climb, on this occasion I was racing my Kawasaki powered formula car when it was still naturally aspirated

Another amazing vintage racing opportunity!
I was asked to drive this beautiful replica of a 1961 Ferrari 156 Formula One car.
An incredibly light car, with 185 bhp... and the same grip as using 4 space saver wheels

My entry into the world of road racing were the Canadian Chump Car events with Mike Thorne. Working on and driving this Pontiac Fire bird with a 350ci small block Chevy. The car guzzled fuel, ate through tires and brake pads pretty quickly, and caused many late nights on repairs. It was great fun to drive

One of my favorite cars to race.
A 1976 BMW 2002, with front and rear subframes and engine from an early 90s E30.
Driving and fixing things for Team PBS, the most fun we had was two 10 hour races at Area 27 in the Okanagan.
The Saturday went really well, and even with just 145 bhp at the wheels, we managed to draft the big v8 cars and get some very fast lap times in. The inline 6 engine was so reliable we thought the temp gauge was broken
