Big White Winter Rally 2024

We did incredibly well... until I went into a Right 6 a little late and a little too fast and the end of stage 10 ( out of 11)

Having had a couple of snow bank crashes earlier and driven out of them.. our luck had run out and we got stuck.

We did finish the rally after getting towed out and overall had a lot of fun in the snow on some amazing stages... Enjoy the video !

My first time at Kananaskis Rally was Incredible

I felt me and Rob really progressed in note making, and definitely gained some speed from this. the car worked great all day despite me falling off the road at high speed 3 times. The worst of which had us missing a bridge and almost driving into a river, lets hope I learn from that one !

We finished 1st in Open 2 wheel drive. But even better than that, we finished 3rd OVERALL ! behind a rally3 AWD fiesta and a very fast Mitsubishi Lancer

Rocky Mountain Rally 2024 was a success !

Saturday we got into a great rhythm with timing, notes and driving and we managed my first few good stage rally jumps

Sunday was an epic day with two stages racing up Hawke Mountain and two racing down. The battle to stay ahead in 2WD class went on, we did quite a few kilometers on two flat tires in one stage, but it was all worth it !

Cochrane Rally 2024 was a great success !

Deep fresh snow seemed to cause a small 2WD turnout.

But despite the -25c temperatures, the mighty Corolla and an incredible

crew battled away at the 10 stages.

I felt stage 1 was over cautious, and consequently crashed twice pushing hard in stage 2. Amazingly we didn't get stuck at either violent smash into the snow bank, and co-driver Rob Jackett did an incredible job of keeping the car on the narrow roads.

We gradually upped the speed all day after that, and by the last couple of stages I felt we had incredible rhythm as the car danced through linked corners and blind crests, and at a couple of moments hit 160 Kmph on snow !
